Stihl Chainsaw MS 462 C-M was specially engineered for the pro user who desires more power with less weight and less user fatigue from their chainsaw during daily forestry work. At just 13 pounds, this saw is the lightest chainsaw produced among Stihl’s gas-powered models. It features a 18-inch guide bar and excellent power-to-weight ratio for added reliability and maneuverability. The next generation Stihl M-Tronic engine management system electronically controls ignition timing and fuel metering. The anti-vibration system is designed for good handling and reduced vibration which equals less fatigue for the user. The side-access chain tensioner makes it more convenient for the user to adjust the saw chain with a bar wrench while Stihl Quickstop Chain Brake provides additional safety during operation. The MS 462 C-M auto-adjusts for changes in its operating environment, such as changes in altitude and fuel quality, for optimal performance.
